Well hello, it's been a while...

After years of working in design and marketing I would be constantly frustrated with clients whom, provided with the tools to write engaging blogs or updates, spectacularly failed to do so. And so we arrive here, nearly 10 months after my last blog post 😆 Despite the fact we are fast approaching the time to buckle up for Beard Season once more, this post is about matters closer to my heart, brought into focus after a sustainable business workshop I attended in Queenstown last weekend. As a small business I have, to be honest, put sustainability and good practice above profits (I'm not going to be winning Dragons Den with an attitude like this, but that was never the point). Midweek Inspiration - Gravity Glue

If you're anything like us at Southern Alps HQ, you might need a bit of inspiration to get you through hump day and on the fast track to the weekend.  We stumbled upon this which we thought was shareworthy, and if you were the kind of kid that used to like making stacks of cards, you'd probably get a lot out of this (not recommended for our Otago lakes and rivers however as you might freeze to death!). Just don't call me a dadpreneur...

I’m a stay at home dad. There, I’ve said it now. Call me a dadpreneur if you will, but all I really am is a man, with a beard, who looks after the kids and the cooking, but also runs a small business here in Queenstown, New Zealand. That’s why it’s been a while since posting on here. Life gets busy. My decision to become a stay at home dad was likely made after a couple of beers, but it was by far the best decision of my life. My decision to produce beard products was not nearly so clear-cut... I just didn’t like the scents of commercial beard oils - I didn’t want to smell like a lumberjack...

Harder Better Faster Stronger beard? Read on...

So, you think this guy just woke up with an awesome beard one day? Doubtful. You have to work on it... We've been getting a few messages this last week asking if we have products that can help your beard grow harder, better, faster, stronger so we thought it would be good to chat about it... Our products will 100% guarantee you will: Grow a beard (period) Grow it faster Grow it longer Make it thicker Get more attention from those whom you desire Oh hang on. No. They won't because we're not into bullsh#t claims. No, we can't help you get the beard of your dreams overnight because there's more to it than that. There's genetics (sorry, unless you're one of...
